Tiny white or cream nudibranchs 1–3mm that feed exclusively on Montipora tissue. Lay white egg spirals on coral surfaces. Can quickly strip a Montipora colony of all tissue.
🔍 IDENTIFICATION
Tiny white nudibranchs on Montipora surfaces. Look for white spiral egg masses on the coral (distinctive). Tissue recession starting from edges. Nudibranchs often match the coral color perfectly.
🛡 PREVENTION
✓Quarantine all new Montipora frags 4 weeks minimum
✓Dip in Coral RX for 10–15 min and inspect closely under magnification
✓Check Montipora surfaces weekly under a flashlight
