🚨 IN YOUR TANK
You have 1 susceptible animal(s): 🪸 Acropora SPS.
Tiny cream or pink flatworms 1–3mm long that live on and eat Acropora tissue. Can devastate an SPS tank quickly — a small colony becomes thousands within weeks. One of the most feared SPS pests.
🔍 IDENTIFICATION
Tiny oval flatworms on the underside of Acropora branches. Look for white eggs (tiny white dots) on branches, tissue recession/bleaching patches, and the worms themselves — flat, oval, cream-colored with a brown gut line.
🛡 PREVENTION
✓Quarantine ALL new Acropora for 4–6 weeks in a separate tank
✓Dip new SPS in Coral RX Pro or Bayer Advanced for 10 minutes — inspect dip water for worms
✓Inspect undersides of all Acropora branches regularly under a flashlight
