Bright green spherical bubbles that grow on rockwork. Relatively harmless in small numbers but can spread rapidly and crowd out corals. Bursting the bubbles spreads spores — must be removed carefully.
🔍 IDENTIFICATION
Shiny, bright green spheres 2–25mm diameter attached to rock. Often found in clusters. Distinct iridescent sheen distinguishes it from normal algae.
